How it Works
& Event Day
The H.E.L.P. M.A.D. ride is an annual fundraising activity for H.E.L.P. ministry in Ludington, MI. The ride features five scenic riding loops in Mason county to accommodate recreational or professional riders.
We provide well marked routes and maps, staffed rest stops, a variety of snacks, SAG teams, energy foods along the way and a picnic at the end!
The cost of registration is $35.00 which covers the food at all rest stops, a picnic meal at the end and a M.A.D. T-

Day of the Ride Registration!
6:30 AM – Registration opens for 44, 62 & 100 mile routes
7:00 AM – Registration opens for 14, 20, 44 routes & off road course
8:00 AM – Registration closes for 44, 62 & 100 mile routes
10:00 AM – Registration closes for 14, 20, 44 routes & off road course
11:30 until 2:30 PM – Picnic
3:00 PM – SAG Cutoff
3:00 PM – End of Event
How it Works
Participating in the MAD ride is easy and if you like variety, this is perfect for you. Try one of our featured routes here or conduct the Help MAD Ride around where you live.
> Register Online or bring a hard copy Registration Form by going here.
> Optionally (but greatly appreciated) collect sponsorship donations,
> Come on August 16, 2025 with your sponsor money and your registration fee if you did not register online.
> Ride! Eat! Drink! Have fun!
We provide maps, numbers, a tee shirt (if pre-paid) and food along the way.
We require helmets and discourage the use of MP3 players or “iPODs”.
We provide SAG riders and will be preparing a picnic for your return.
